SASKATCHEWAN LIFE INSURANCE CE REQUIREMENTS

HOW MANY CE CREDITS DO LIFE AGENTS IN SASKATCHEWAN NEED?

Life agents need 15 CE credits each year.

ARE THERE ANY REQUIREMENTS ON THE COURSES YOU TAKE?

At least 10 of the 15 hours you take must be related to life insurance or accident & sickness (A&S) insurance products. The rest can be other related courses like segregated funds. Courses related to sales skills or motivation do not qualify for credits.

Life insurance agents in Saskatchewan also need 3 hours of Ethics training each year.

MANDATORY ETHICS TRAINING

During each term, life insurance agents need to complete 3 hours of Ethics training:

  • You need to complete 3 Ethics CE courses the year you become licensed
  • Then every 5 years after that
