An old-school cash register – ours does NOT look like this although it does look pretty cool!

One of the things we struggled with early on with prospective students looking to move into a new career in the insurance industry was: “how do we make it so everyone can get access to the training materials they need?”

From the beginning, accessibility has been at the core of our mission – both from a financial and intellectual perspective. We want to make the content easy for everyone to understand (including those who don’t have English as their first language) and also easy for everyone to access regardless of financial circumstances.

When people first come to us for career training, they’re usually in-between jobs, tight on finances (who isn’t these days) or have other extenuating circumstances that make it hard for them to afford the course enrollment fees without sacrificing other aspects of their life.

The first thing we tried was to do everything we could to keep our insurance licensing course fees as low as possible so they could be as accessible as possible to everyone. But we still found that many people were struggling. So, we looked at our billing software and came up with a payment plan system.

PNC LEARNING INTEREST-FREE PAYMENT PLANS

So now, if you’re struggling to afford the course enrollment fees up front, just get in touch with us and we’ll come up with a payment plan that works for you.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1: Get in touch with us and let us know which course/bundle you’d like to enroll in and what sort of monthly payment you can afford.

Step 2: We create a custom course/bundle link for you with the custom payment plan enabled and we send it to you via email, text message, snail mail, or carrier pigeon.

Step 3: Complete the enrollment using that link we sent you and start studying.

You’ll have access to all of the course materials right off the bat so there’s no delay. The system automatically bills your credit card every month for the agreed amount until the course fees are paid off (ie. $50/month for 4 months). After that, the payments end automatically.

We’ve been offering the “PNC Learning Payment Plans” for the last year now as part of a trial run and the initiative has done very well in making insurance licensing courses more accessible. Because of these positive results, we’ve decided to announce the program officially on our blog and make sure more people know about it.
